While stationed in Spain he also traveled to Israel for training where he was able to visit the Dead Sea and some other places of historical importance that meant a lot to him. Devin’s experiences in Spain were some of his greatest memories. After completing 4 years in the Military, he returned to Yakima and after some college decided to go to Perry Tech for welding. Devin subsequently went on to work at Triumph Actuation where he loved his job and his co-workers, many were like family.

Devin loved music and played a multitude of musical instruments. But the guitar was by far his favorite, and he played it beautifully. Anything from classical to modern day music, he was very eclectic. He also had a love for animals, some of his favorites were his wiener dogs Scooter & Sophie. Devin loved books and learning all he could. He was always researching something. His choice of reading was as eclectic as his music. Devin also loved to go to the beach, especially Lincoln City. He had many family trips there and made many cherished memories. While at the coast he also enjoyed going to antique and bookstores and was always on the search for a hidden gem. Devin had recently attained his goal of buying his own home and enjoyed hanging out there with his cousin and friends. He was so excited to have a designated music room for all his instruments and his many amps. He had also raised 2 chicks and a duck at his new home and was looking forward to gardening.
Devin was an easy going, calm soul with a great sense of humor and huge heart. His blue eyes and big warm smile will be dearly missed. Devin was always there to lend an ear, or a hand when needed. His journey was cut way too short but his impact on friends and family will last an eternity.
