Donald Lee Maybee

He was born in Yakima to Leo and Marian (Maver) Maybee and graduated from Selah HS in 1972. He worked for 18 months as a brick layer apprentice then after an injury he went to work in 1976 for Yakima Cement Products, which later became Western Materials, in which he retired in 2011 after 35 years.

Donny loved to fish, hunt, floating the river and just about any other outdoor activity. He also enjoyed motorsports, especially NASCAR. Donny was just truly an amazing man.

Survivors include his parents Leo and Marian Maybee of Moxee; his brother Paul (Odulia) of Moses Lake; nieces, Marcy Garcia of Kennewick and Lynnette Maybee of Moses Lake and one nephew, David (DesaRae) Maybee of Spokane Valley. He is also survived by Mike and Paul Sexton, whom he helped raise from childhood and are considered family.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14th at Keith & Keith Funeral Home with burial following at West Hills Memorial Park.
