Douglas George Rohn

Douglas George Rohn 62 of Yakima passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 surrounded by family. Doug was born August 29, 1960 in Mount Vernon Washington, and adopted by Dale and Dorothy Rohn at the age of three.

Doug attended school in Selah. After graduating from high school he went into the Marines where he served for four years. Following his service Doug went on to be a lineman at Pacific Power where he stayed for thirty plus years. Doug was also a volunteer fireman for the West Valley Fire Department Station two.

In his free time Doug enjoyed hunting, jeeping with the Yakima Ridgerunners, snowmobiling, and side by siding. Doug and his wife of 38 years Susan loved travel, specifically making memories during their trips to Montana. Doug was a loyal friend to many, most of which he called family.

Doug is survived by his wife Susan, sons Nick and Travis (Krystal), daughter Lacy (Philip), grandchildren Bailey, Tyler, Cambri, Brody, Lily and Jace, and numerous family and friends who loved him dearly. Doug is preceded in death by his parents Dale and Dorothy Rohn.

We don’t stop loving.

We journey forward loving the best we can.

We hold them in our hearts until we’re together again.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
