Duane Edward Luttrell

Duane was raised by his grandparents in Crookston, MN, Texas and then Seattle after his grandfather’s death. Duane loved them with all of his heart.

He attended Catholic Schools during his upbringing. He was ill for over a year as a child, the nuns came to their home during that time and kept him current with his education.

Duane loved music, the ocean, the smell of the mountains and his pets. He cared greatly for all animals and was seen rescuing a mouse or bird to give them a second chance.

Duane was in the Army in his early years. He also was a butcher and fireman in Seattle and a master at sales and loved to cook.

Duane and Cathy met on Valentine ’s Day and have spent the last 34 years together.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Cathy, brothers-in-law Doyel and John Deason, sisters-in-law Delma and Fran Deason, and many great friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
