

Elodia enjoyed cooking rice, beans and homemade tortillas for family and friends. She was a generous and loving person with a meal for anyone who entered her home. Everyday Elodia would use her molcajete especially when making her “Gold Award winning” homemade chilé.
She was very fond of the song, “How Much Is That Doggy In The Window”. During her last few years she enjoyed visits from her granddaughter, Julie and her little dog, Snickers.
Elodia is survived by her children; Angelica (Moises), Joel, Lydia (Tom), Sixto, Alicia (Reynaldo), Raul (Cathy), Rebecca (Muhammad), Irma (Richard), and Maria (Stan). She is also survived by two brothers, Apolonio and Lupe Macias; sisters, Maria and Maria de Refugia Macias; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gustavo Fernandez Jr.

A private celebration of life will be held in her memory by the family.
