After a two year fight with cancer, he is now resting peacefully.
Dad is survived by his mother, Dorothy Weishaar; sister, Donna Reynolds (Bob); brothers, Frank Dobbs (Marilyn), and Richard Weishaar (Carolyn); children, Carrie Vogel (John), Tiffanie Marquis (James Loveland), and Erik Dobbs (Dawnice); seven grandchildren, Branden, Matthew, Stephanie, Marc, Ted, Terach and Aivan; numerous nieces, and nephews; and many lifelong friends from the VFW and American Legion who called him "Geno".
We would like to thank Dr. Boyd of Northstar Lodge and the many wonderful nurses that were always so helpful when I called about Dad. Also, thank you Kathy from Memorial Hospice for helping keep Dad comfortable his last week at home. As Dad would say, "Hoya, Hoya, Hoya" AND "C-C Cut ur loose". Love you Dad!! We'll miss you!
A Celebration of Dad's life will be held at the American Legion (1120 North 34th Avenue - Yakima) on Saturday, December 29th, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
