Faye Estella Martin

Faye E. Martin passed away on June 27th, 2018. She was at home, surrounded by love as she left this earth. Faye loved color and filled her life with it, that passion was displayed in everything from her knitting projects, with carefully chosen colors of yarn, her gorgeous yard full of flowers, and her beautiful paintings that she shared with family and friends and the art community of Yakima.

She was always ready to share a lesson, offering her skills in art classes, teaching how to knit and offering her advice, even if it came with a bit of sass.

One of the most important gifts Faye gave was her attitude of positive thinking. Faye always did her best to keep her mind on the positive aspects of her life and the situations she was in. She reassured herself and many around her with that simplistic and beautiful ideology. It is a lesson we all will take with us.

SOME people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never ever the same.

SOME people awaken us to new and deeper realizations… for we gain insight from the passing whisper of their wisdom.

THROUGHOUT our lives, we are sent precious souls… meant to share our journey however brief or lasting their stay, they remind us why we are here.
