Gabriel Sanchez (9years old) passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday August 11th after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Gabriel loved to watch his favorite movies over and over and would just burst with excitement while watching the THX opening on each of his dvds. His favorites were Spongebob, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and of course The Incredibles. He loved to wear his Mr Incredible costume every chance he got! He always has his special toys and food surrounding him wherever he might be. He loved tickles, bubbles, swimming, EVERYTHING Christmas and especially birthdays. He recently got to go to Disneyland on a Children's Wishes and Dreams trip with his parents and two sisters Isabelle and Savannah. He absolutely loved flying on the airplane. He slept in his Mickey Mouse ears for months after his trip. He also got to go see Yo Gabba Gabba show live last fall. Gabriel attended Harrah Elementary pre-school program as well as Gilbert Elementary for kindergarten and first grade. He was currently a third grader at Cottonwood Elementary. Gabriel is survived by his parents Gabriel and Misty Sanchez of Yakima, two younger sisters, Savannah and Isabelle Sanchez of Yakima. Grandparents Lupe and Lupita Sanchez of Harrah and Ray and Cheryl Stanfill of Culleoka, Tennessee along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Gabriel will be remembered by all who knew him for his kind heart, sweet smile, and sense of humor. Gabe had an enormous amount of strength and determination. He was the true definition of Mr. Incredible. He touched countless lives in the nine short years we were blessed to have him and he will be missed dearly.
