Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to many, Gary L. Lattin Sr., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the age of 79.
Gary was born in Alliance, NE to Charles and Pearl Lattin.
Gary served his country in the Navy from 1961-1965. After his honorable discharge, he and his wife Mary (Ramirez) eventually settled in the Yakima Valley in 1970 where Gary used his passion, love, and gift for repairing cars, to launch his own successful automotive business.
Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Mary, his children, Gary (Linda) Lattin, Charles (Trish) Lattin, Starlene (Bryan) Taylor, 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for his love of both his family and his Heavenly Father, with whom he is face-to-face today.
Gary was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Weber, his parents, and two of his siblings.
Visitation will be held at Langevin Funeral Home at 1010 W. Yakima Ave from 4PM-7PM on Wednesday, February 7. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 10:30 AM, with a reception lunch immediately following.
Burial will follow at Terrace Heights Cemetery at 3001 Terrace Heights Drive.
