30, 2019. Gary was born on May 22, 1956 in Yakima, Washington. He was raised in Cowiche
and attended school there. He graduated from Highland High School in 1974. Shortly after high
school he went to work for Ed Trepanier Excavating in 1974 with his dad and brothers Joe and
Dave. Later on he started his own company called Gary J. Trepanier Excavating. He also
acquired many house rentals over the years. He loved riding motorcycles, four wheelers,
snowmobiling, fishing on his pond, shooting guns, and traveling the world. In January Gary met
the love of his life Patricia Arnt on a cruise. They had planned to be married this November on a trip to Israel. He loved her very much. He touched many lives during his lifetime and will be missed by many.
Gary had a megawatt smile and loved talking to people. He was a gift from God. After he found Jesus, he daily asked God for wisdom and strength to make the right choices for his business and soon to be family. We are selfish and want his physical body here on earth, but his spirit has written on all our hearts and we take that and make this world a better place. For what one writes on the soul of others is what one will take out of this world, because there is never a hearse pulling a trailer.
All glory be to God for his wonderful life. Out of all the “stuff” that Gary acquired all of his life he always said love was the greatest gift of all. We all just want to be loved, in Jesus holy precious name. Amen.
Gary is survived by his brothers Tom Trepanier and his husband Craig Wilson, Joe Trepanier and Dave Trepanier; his fiancé, Patricia Arnt; and her children he called his own, Brittany, Tabitha, Jessica, JR, Autumn, Faith and granddaughter, Violet; nephews Tyler Trepanier, Trey Trepanier, Trevor Trepanier and his wife Desiree Trepanier, step brother, Bob Petty; treasured friend, Russ Mazzola as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Charlotte and Dean Petty, Ed and Pauline Trepanier, brother Jerry Trepanier, and sister in law Dee Dee Trepanier. Special thanks to Cindy Rollinger who was a dedicated and loyal employee at Gary J. Trepanier Excavating for several years.

A Funeral service will be held at Yakima Foursquare Church, 700 N. 40th Ave. Yakima on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. A committal service will follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park Mausoleum.
