Gerald was born 7/17/1930 in New England ND to parents Goodwin and Francis Gallop Olson.
The family moved to Washington in 1947. In 7/20/ 1956 Gerald married Clara M. Jacobs.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Clara Olson; daughter, Denise Styer; son, Bruce Olson all of Yakima, several grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Gerald is survived by 2 brother, Darrell Olson, Myron Olson (Karen); 7 sisters. Irene Srb, Della Baily, Mavis (Bud) Halverson, Gladys Parks, Arloween Scheewitz, Nadine (Ed) Maychrzak.
Gerald worked various jobs from orchard work to heavy construction.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 pm on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be Tuesday 10th at 11:00 at Keith and Keith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at West Hills Memorial Park.
