Henry Paul Wright

Henry Paul Wright (Papa) passed away June 27, 2015. Henry was born January 3, 1938 in Yakima, WA. He worked in construction most of his life and was known for his hard work, sense of humor, and stubbornness. He loved hunting, fishing, playing the ponies, and spending time with his family.

Henry’s wife of 59 years, Midge, stood faithfully by his side to the very end.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Julia Wright, and siblings, Dewayne Wright, Leveral Wright, and Retta Rapp.

Henry is survived by his wife Midge and their children, Greg Wright (Julie), of Sedro-Woolley, WA, Tammie Wright of Tacoma, WA, Kenny Wright (Shelly) of Mt. Vernon, WA, Robbin Parsley (Greg) of Yakima, WA, and Lori Torrence of Mt. Vernon, WA, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, as well as his brother Vincent Wright of Yakima, WA.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and all the staff at both Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and Cottage in the Meadow.

Visitation will be held at Langevin • El Paraíso Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cottage in the Meadow.
