

Jeannie Burns Goulet (Sandra) passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on February 19, 2019. She was reunited with her Son Greg Henry. Jeannie was born on July 5, 1945 in Yakima, Washington to Harry and Saba Burns. Jeannie attended school in Parker and Wapato. She lived most of her life in the Parker, Wapato area.
Jeannie was blessed with two wonderful sons, Greg born in 1963 and Steve born in 1965. These two sons were her life.
Jeannie worked alongside her mother Saba, at Nickoloff and Marley orchards. After her divorce, she decided she needed to get out of farm work and became a bartender at the Old Town Pump. She loved the job and all of the friends and acquaintances she developed.
Jeannie married the love of her life Al Goulet on June 12, 1992 in Reno Nevada. Jeannie was a very giving person, not only to her immediate family, but to other family members as well. She had an open heart to those less fortunate or those who needed help or a home. Her house was a second home to many of her son’s friends. She always had a house full. She loved her animal’s dogs, cats, pigeons, chickens and even a donkey.
During her younger years, she loved playing softball with her sister Susie, and loved to play darts with her sister Cherrie, brother Jr., and husband Al, She loved to dance, sing karaoke and play darts. In her later years, she enjoyed going to the local casinos, but Reno was still her favorite. She enjoyed all the holidays, especially Christmas. She said in November I have to make it through Christmas and she did.
Jeannie is survived by her husband Al Goulet, son Steve (Laurie), grandchildren Jessica Henry, Kassie and Gavin Leach, CJ Nolan and great Granddaughter Miley Hernandez. She is also survived by her sister Susie (Jim) Laurent, nieces and nephews, Cathy (Bob) Wood, Bryan (Tracy) Burns, Tony (Leila) Leach and Vicky Leach, Nick, Doug , Bill and Thomas Laurent, step children Alan, Ken, Lisa and Jennifer Goulet and all of their families and many cousins she loved dearly.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her son Greg Henry, her parents Harry and Saba Burns, Sister Cherrie Leach and Brother in law Ray Leach, Brothers, JR, and Dick Burns, nephew Mark Burns.
Jeannie was a wonderful wife, the greatest mother and sister in the whole world. We will love and miss you always.
Funeral Service will be Monday, February 25th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Keith and Keith Funeral Home. Services Conclude at the Wapato Reservation Cemetery.
Rainier Memorial Center is in charge of arrangements.
