

Our loving husband, father and friend Jim Espinoza III was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 9, 2010 in White Swan, Washington. He was born to Jim and Lupe Espinoza on November 8, 1948, in Seattle.
Jim attended High School at Wapato Senior High where he participated in Cross Country and Track; he held records in both events for many years. Shortly after graduation Jim served in the US ARMY and fought in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged and came back to the United States where he met and married the love of his life Marion. They spent thirty-eight cherished and loving years together. Jim was a dedicated employee for Yakama Forest Products, where he worked as a millwright. He had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, and listening to music, and gardening. His true passion however was his family.
Jim is survived by his wife Marion, His three daughters Diana Clark (Cory), Julie Espinoza (Ric), Sara Gutierrez (Isaac), and honorary daughter Crystal Taylor-Moreno. His ten grandchildren Alina, Mitchell, Kristen, Wally, Tajarae, Ellie Jayne, Lily and Ashley, Ben and Natalie. He is also survived by his Parents Jim and Lupe Espinoza, two sisters, Rosie Kinney and Elizabeth Espinoza, and brother, John Espinoza. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Espinoza.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 and from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12 at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. A Vigil service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, White Swan. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in White Swan. Concluding services and burial will follow at Reservation Community Memorial Park in Wapato, with full military honors conducted by members of Yakama Warriors and Washington State National Guard.
