Jimmie (Jack) H. Helms loving dad, brother, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away on Saturday September 7th, 2019.

Jimmie was born in Calico Rock, Arkansas on February 5th, 1942. Jimmie was known to many in the community as “The Wood Man.”

Dad enjoyed cutting firewood and did it his whole life. He retired from Burlington Railroad and the National Guard.

He is survived by his children, Timothy, Lisa (Tino), and Brandy (Nick); his brother, Kennie, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Merle Blair, and sisters, Virginia, and Joyel.

A funeral service is planned Friday, September 13th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
