

Patsy and children....I was so very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was the first-born boy in our family and so my parents were very proud and happy to have this boy child they named John Anthony.  John came home to join a family that already consisted of 4 sisters, who were also very excited to meet him. None of us were ready for the exuberance that a single boy could bring into our lives. He was much loved. He was also such a mischievous child that it was almost impossible to keep up with him. He never stopped moving, he went from walking to talking and from tricycle to bicycle always at full speed ahead. I am so very grateful to know that your loving hands tended my brother as he was leaving this world. I do know that John loved all of you dearly. I believe that he has now taken his rightful place as the first-born son, in the afterlife, beside his mother and father who so loved him.  Rosemary Ettenhofer -Rector


Brother John was a firecracker in our family.  He was one of nine children and number 5 in that roundup!   I am number one in the roundup and oldest daughter.  I remember John as a blond, curly headed little boy with big blue eyes and boundless energy!  Never a dull moment then and probably throughout his whole life.   You will be missed!
