She was born in Shreveport, LA on February 27, 1933 to Lucille (Ferguson) and Garland Robison. The family then moved to Jonesboro, LA. She was raised and educated there as the eldest of 5 children. When she was 17 years old she married J.L. Peppers and they then moved to Yakima, W A. She had and raised seven children. During her life she was a hard worker in the hop fields, orchards, and warehouses. She eventually became a caregiver to the elderly and shared her love and compassion to others. She was married to her second husband Emmett Borland, who was her childhood sweetheart, until his
death in 2009. She loved to garden, read, play bingo, and drive her car. Her smile will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

We would like to thank Kathy, Diana, Justin, and all the other caregivers, too numerous to list here, at Good Samaritan. Your love and compassion to our mother was the reason we entrusted her to you.
