Juanita S. Van Wagoner

She graduated from Yakima High School, where she met the love of her life, Reg Van Wagoner. They were married on September 30, 1950.

Juanita and Reg enjoyed 66 years of marriage, until Reg’s passing on September 17, 2016. Except for a short stint as a telephone operator in Santa Anna, CA, while Reg served in the Marine Corps, and for a time upon returning to Yakima, she was a happy and very loving homemaker.

She spent countless hours shuttling her 2 sons and their friends and teammates all over the Yakima Valley for baseball practices and games for many years of their youth.

Juanita was a wonderful, and loved, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mom is survived by her two sons, Cary (Remy) Van Wagoner, and Danny Van Wagoner, grandchildren Jay (Jennielynn) Van Wagoner and Nicole (Jack) Miller, and great grandchildren Addilyn and Lillia Van Wagoner and Luci Miller. Juanita is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you from our entire family to Francess Kosko for all of her help and love for Mom and Dad over so many years.

Graveside service was arranged by Keith and Keith Funeral Home, and will be held at Tahoma Cemetery on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
