Julia A. Bradley passed away Monday, June 18, 2012. She was born on April 19, 1948 in Deer Lodge, Montana to Cassimier and Donna Fleck. The oldest of 6 children, she shared her childhood with her brothers, Stanley, James and Johnny, and sisters, Nancy and Elaine.
Julia married Gary Bradley on October 10, 1964 and they had 3 daughters who were center of her world. They grew a very successful trucking business over the years that was the envy of many in the same business, and helped guide Jenny through the transition of taking over when Gary left them way too soon.
Julia loved life and her family! She had an entertaining sense of humor, a contagious laugh and a heart of gold. If you could see Julia through the eyes of everyone who knew her, you would have seen an amazing woman. Family was the most important to Julie, was always opening her home to anyone and everyone. She enjoyed cooking lavish dinners and was proud to have recently won a chili cook-off with her son-in-law Tim. She never let anyone go hungry, and it was nothing for her to feed the crew when they were working in the shop. She loved to give and her favorite time of year was Christmas. Her home was decked out with all the holiday trimmings which included 4 Christmas trees, one for each of her girls and their families plus one extra for extended family and friends, homemade holiday treats and the exterior was lit up like the 4th of July! She was generous beyond belief, and always helped the less fortunate by donating baked goods or anything else that she could to help a good cause. She loved her yearly trip to Las Vegas to attend the NASCAR race, a tradition that she and Gary started when they opened the track there, and was the envy of the group as Lady Luck followed her wherever she went. She invented "FEED THE PIG" when anyone traveling with her ran out of money. Known for her ease of frequent conversation with even total strangers she never met a stranger. she was highly intelligent and knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects from sports to politics. You were brave if you started a debate with her because you would usually end up on the losing end. Her most recent past time was playing Hidden Chronicles (HC for short) on Facebook. She loved to support her grandchildren with their life goals. Her signature gift of joy through her constant smiling, laughter and joking around will never be forgotten. She instilled the knowledge and Family Values and what it takes to keep a Family together through good times and bad. This will live on through her children and Grandchildren for years to come.
Julia was preceeded in death by her husband, Gary E. Bradley, her parents Cassimier and Donna Fleck, her brothers Stanley Fleck and James Fleck, her nephews Myron Shane Bradley, Stanley Fleck and Matthew Fleck. She is survived by her three daughters, Tamara and Mark Donahue, Myra and Jim Zorrozua, and Virginia Bradley and Tim Griffith; two sisters, Nancy (Terry) Southards, and Elaine (Keith) Fleck; one brother, Johnny (Betty) Fleck; four grandchildren, Kendra Nicole Donahue, Bradley Donahue, Dillan Sybouts and Dustin Sybouts; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
