Julia Minda Harris

Her focus was taking care of her family and her cooking was legendary. She loved to dance – most recently with her 84 year old friend and her doctor. She saw the beauty in everyone whose lives she touched and encouraged all who knew her to find beauty in every day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard (Bill) Harris and 5 siblings. She is survived by her sister, Teresa (Tessie) Minda; her children, Steven Harris and his wife Joan, Barbara Ruff, Michael Harris and his wife Cindy; her grandchildren, Wendy Gardenhire and her husband Roy, Steven Harris Jr. and his wife Carolyn, Elizabeth Thompson and her husband Stephen, Emily Harris, Alyson Johnson and her husband Nathan; her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jacob, Meagan, Matt, Mitch, Luke and William.

Vigil Services will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2010 at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel. Interment to follow at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
