Kathleen Jean (Kathy) Curry, aged 81, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024, in Yakima WA. Born on January 25, 1943, in Tacoma WA. She was a beloved mom. Grandmother and great grandmother. Kathy was known for her love of the outdoors, artistic talents and passion for reading.
Kathy pursued a career as a Social Worker in Aberdeen WA before establishing her own counselling business. She held a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Evergreen College. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, painting and cherished moments with her family.
She is survived by her children Paul (Ester) Curry, Jeannie (Scott) Swedberg, Jerry (Dawn) Curry, grandchildren Keaton and Kelley Maggard, numerous great-grandchildren, sisters Maryann (Rich) Ingersoll, Dot Wines, Peggy (Dave) VanDorn and many nieces and nephews. Kathy is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Curry and parents Jerry and Jean Murray.
