Katie Katherine Lynch

Katie was born October 18th, 1925 in Britt, Iowa to Dan and Molly Pigman.

Katie grew up in Mason City, Iowa along with her brother Henry and sister, Dorothy. In her twenties she traveled to Seattle, WA where she met her future

husband, Willis Lynch. Katie married Bill, the love of her life on May 3rd, 1947. They lived in various places in Washington before settling in the Yakima Valley.

Katie and Bill had three children, Phillip, Larry and Pattie. Katie was a homemaker and then worked for many years in the fruit industry sorting apples. Family was very important to Katie and she loved attending events with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Katie also enjoyed baking, collecting owls and shopping.

Katie is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, her brother Henry and her son Philip. She is survived by her daughter Pattie (Terry), her son Larry, her

sister Dorothy, five grandchildren, Isaac, Leah, Joanna, Melissa and Tabitha, and eight great-grandchildren, Chandler, Aiden, Logan, Hannah, Madison, Emily, Jackson and Jonas.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wynwood, Memorial Hospital and Cottage in the Meadow for taking such excellent care of our Katie.
