

Keith was born April 29, 1941 in Marlin, Washington to Philip Pfeifer and Annette Kallenberger. He married Judith Smoots August 14, 1965 in Moses Lake, Washington.
He served in the 50th Air Police Squadron. Later, he attended Washington State University and earned a B.S. degree in agronomy.
He has lived most of his life in eastern Washington including Moses Lake, Pullman, and Spokane. Keith and Judy moved to Yakima to start their family, but had short stints in Pendleton, OR and Kansas City, MO before ultimately settling back in Yakima where he lived for the remainder of his life.
Keith was an avid fisherman, golfer, and boater. He had a long career with the Washington State Crop Improvement Association.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Judy, daughters Wendy and Kristine, grandchild Jordan, and sisters Lorene and Judy.
He is preceded in death by his parents Philip and Annette; brothers Howard, Cecil, Raymond, Irwin, and Loren; and sisters Gladys, Donna, Lenora, and Iva.
At the family’s request, there will be no service held. In lieu of services, and to honor Keith, we ask that all who wish to participate to play a round of golf in his honor or celebrate his favorite pastime by making a donation to the Wild Fish Conservancy in his name.
