

Bonnie was born on December 29, 1932 to Harold and Gladys Jones of Vancouver, Washington. She attended Vancouver High School and was given the Citizenship Award upon graduation for services and activities above and beyond during her high school years. Bonnie attended the U of Oregon, pledged Chi Omega, then left after two years to marry her high school sweetheart, Louis Prediletto in 1952.
Bonnie and Lou went on to raise a family and moved to Yakima, Washington in 1957. Thomas, Michael, and Pamela were raised in Yakima where her two sons are currently residing.
Bonnie was very active in many organizations including Alivio from 1957-1966 (President, receiving Jr. Woman of the year award in 1965)
Bonnie was Chairman for the American Cancer Society, (1965)
Active member (1962-1972) and President of PTA awarded Golden Acorn, (1970)
Joined Leslie Loudon Guild in 1968, and was President of Guild (1974-1975)
Bonnie also served as President of Memorial Hospital Auxillary (1976-1977)
Bonnie was an active sports enthusiast. She joined the Yakima Country Club in 1967, and remained an active member of the women’s division serving in almost every capacity, including President in 1984. She was awarded an honorary membership in 2016. Although she never did get a hole in one, she achieved her lowest score of 85. While at the Country Club, Bonnie was an accomplished bridge player and ran bridge there for the last several years. She also enjoyed bowling, and was a member of WIBC for many years.
Bonnie was known for her annual Christmas poetry and wrote beautiful poems for many people over the years. She was a true entertainer at heart from tap dancing, to singing, and even standing on her head until the age of 75.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Prediletto, (June 21, 2012) and grandson Joshua Michael Prediletto (March 31, 2010)
She is survived by her three children Thomas (Patty) Prediletto of Yakima, Washington, including granddaughter, Melissa Maggard and her three great grandsons’ Brendan, Maximus, and Jaxxon. Michael Prediletto and granddaughter Angela, and her great grandsons’ Isseiah and Malakai. Pamela (Gus) Zefkeles and granddaughters’ Nichole and Brittany.
A celebration of life will be held at the Yakima Country Club on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice. The family would also like to extend their humble gratitude to her caregivers at Cottage In The Meadow Hospice, and their deepest thanks to her RN, Melissa Dellinger, who gave her love and support while she was at home.
