

Lois will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. She loved her family, her church, and good dark chocolate. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was quick to laugh, hardworking, and a compassionate listener. Lois was always willing to lend a hand, whether it was helping with the church bazaar or reading to the quilting club while they stitched.
Lois was married to Harold Knapp on July 1, 1958. Lois was a lab technician in Seattle for 35 years. She was a member of St. Bernadette Parish in Seattle. After retiring, Lois relocated to Naches, Washington with her husband. She was an active member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Naches.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Anna Eveland and her sister, Margaret Lukshides.
Lois is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Byatt; her husband, Harold Knapp, sons, David and Brian Knapp and daughters, Karen Larrick and Carol Nelson. She was a proud grandmother of Elizabeth and Kathryn Larrick and Haley, Cassandra and Killian Nelson.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lois’ name to Catholic Family Services directed to Senior Servicies; c/o Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home with a Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Naches.
