I have know Lonnie for the better part of 30 years.  When we met we hit it off right away.  I was a past Law Enforcement from the Air Force and of course he was MP in the Army.  During the years I have worked for Lonnie putting in his pool and built the diving deck.  I was dumbfounded when he gave the pool to his sister and moved the deck.  That was just the kind of guy Lonnie was.  He would give you the shirt off of your back.  Lonnie was compassionate and also had a heart like a rock.  If you appealed to his softer side like I sadi you would get the shirt off of his back.  But if he thought you were giving him the line of BS he would call you on it.
Lonnie worked for the VA and I saw the compassionate side of him.  I am going miss Lonnie and just found out today that you passed 3/9/2026.  I wish that I would have known that you were ill, I would have come by the house more often but you know how life goes to busy to stop and then by the time I remembered it was to late.
I will miss you my dear friend with all of the deep conversations we had and the fun times also.

Jeff & Rob, I’m sorry for your dad’s passing. I am not sure you remember me.  He was a good friend and mentor, I owe my career in law enforcement to him, and so much more.

Very sad to hear of Lonnie's passing. Had my share of laughs with him through the years. I will miss seeing your jet black hair... Rest in peace brother. Say hi to Larry Carrol if your paths cross up there.

I’m writing to share some sad news about one of our quartet members. During our high school years, we had the privilege of enjoying something truly special thanks to your parents, Marc. Those evenings spent at the Yearout household are memories that are as vivid today as they were during those real experiences.
While we’ve all had independent and fulfilling lives, those early years spent working together to create something special have forged a lifelong bond among us. I want to express my deepest gratitude for the enduring impact that your parents’ contributions have had on my life. I genuinely hope that you both are happy and healthy.
The next time you celebrate a special occasion, please raise a toast to Lonnie and his significant role in our collective experiences.

He is survived by his two sons Rob &amp; Jeff, Stepdaughter Sophia Pallas, Grandchildren, Keenan, Isabella and Skylar, Great Grandchildren, Malia, Olivia and Sawyer, His Sister Donna Mach and Brother Greg James, and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Lon is reunited in peace with childhood sweetheart and wife Linda, his parents, as well has numerous other relatives and friends who preceded him.
