She was born in Charles City, Iowa to Albert and Gladys Friend on July 5, 1939. Lorraine graduated from High School in San Fernando, California.
She married Berlin Wright, on February 24, 1959 in San Fernando, California who was in the Air
Force which brought her to many areas of the world. They were stationed in Texas, Japan,
Nebraska, and Alaska. They divorced in 1979.
She loved fishing and camping in the lakes and rivers of Alaska.
She joined the Sweet Adelines group Sound Celebration in Alaska and traveled to many
competitions which included National's in New Orleans and Nashville. She also joined the
Anything Goes Group in Yakima and sang at many functions. She moved to Yakima 10 years ago and began employment as a Caregiver.
She is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Tachick (Duane), Carolyn Wright (Jason) and Judy Wright (Victor); sister Madge Roebuck and brother-in-law Ray Roebuck; grandchildren Christina, Vicky (Austin), Rachel (Nick), Rebecca, Andrea; great-grandchildren: Darius, Ajianna, Roenna, Hoyt, and Kian. Many Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Albert, mother Gladys, and sister Pat.
Her wishes are to be cremated and her ashes spread in her favorite fishing spot in Alaska and
in Long Beach, California with her mom and dad.
Family, Friends and others whose lives Lori touched are invited to the Keith and Keith Funeral
Home, 902 W Yakima Ave, Yakima Wa. on July 20th, 2019 at 5:00pm for viewing and 6:00pm service
followed by a potluck reception.
