Mr. Locke was born in Yakima and was a caregiver and attendant counselor at the Yakima Valley School for the developmentally disabled. He worked with DSHS, DDD and the SOLA Program.
Survivors include a sister, Darlene Vaughn of Yakima; a son, Joe Locke of Vancouver; three daughters, DeAnna Davis of Arvada, Colo., Cathy McKeirnan and Selena Castro, both of Pullman; two stepsons, Vance Fischer of Spokane and Max Fischer of California; three stepdaughters, Tracy Fischer of Nebraska, Gina Young of California, and Jean Burrow of Yakima; 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Keith and Keith Funeral Home, Yakima. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at West Hills Memorial Park.
