As a young man he spent some time in the U.S Army. He loved his country and was a very patriotic man. He loved his family, his church family and his friends.
He is survived by his children, Andrea Mahone, Joshua Mahone and Jamie Mahone all of Union Gap, WA; three sisters, Jean Anderson (Dale) of Decatur, Texas, Dale Minor (Earl) of East Wenatchee, WA and Beverly Holcomb (Walter) of Winthrop, WA; one granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
