Raymond Flores Jr.

He was born Saturday, July 20, 1946 in Yakima, WA to the late Encarnacion Juarez and Raymond Flores. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sonia Flores; six daughters, Julia Flores and her husband Raul Quilihua of Portland, OR, Adelia Dobb and her husband Brad Dobb of Lynden, WA, Rosalie Chavez and her husband Gerardo Chavez of Yakima, Carmen Lonborg, her husband Jared Lonborg of Anchorage, Alaska, Sonia Flores, her husband Dany LaPlante of Hollywood, FL and Elvira Flores of Selah and one son, Armando Flores and numerous grandchildren.

He is also survived by three brothers Hipolito Flores and his wife Guadalupe Flores of Yakima, Victor Flores and his wife Linda Flores of Yakima and Frank Flores of Whitewater, CA, and three sisters, Mary Flores of Wapato, Delores Bautista of Yakima and Stella Melendez and her late husband Joe Melendez of Whitewater, CA . He was preceded in death by his brother George Flores and sisters, Leah Walker, Josie atterson, Aurora Valasquez.

Raymond was one of the most upstanding gentlemen of our community. He was caring, kind, humorous, and strong. He was the light of so many lives and his heart was bigger than the world. He will be missed by so many. How he lived his life will forever be in the hearts and minds of his family; and will be the perpetual reminder of how to conduct ourselves as upstanding, caring, and loving contributions to this world.
