Robert John Harvey

Dad graduated from Selah High School in 1949 and spent most of his life in Selah. He worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad from 1951 until retirement in 1992. He started in Yakima and ended up in Woodinville, WA. Dad enjoyed the outdoors, especially the ocean. Over the past 25 years he always went to the Kite Festival in Long Beach, WA.

Dad is survived by his daughter Pam (Dan) of Yakima, his son Richard of Buckley, WA; 3 granddaughters: Julie (Scott) of Milton, WA, Janis and Jeana (David) of Yakima; 5 great grandchildren: Ariana, Salina, Emilee, Devin all of Yakima and Courtney of Bellingham, WA; and soon to be great-great grandson Hunter; his brother Richard of Selah, WA and his sister Mary Ellen of Spokane, WA.

Dad was preceded in death by his mother and father, younger sister Sarah, wife Phyllis, and his cats: Cooper and T.C.

Donations may be made to Yakima Humane Society.

Dad will be put to rest Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at West Hills Memorial Park with a memorial service in the spring, his favorite time of year.
