In 1941 they moved to Yakima, WA, where she attended Washington Junior High and then Yakima High School.
Bobbi married Edgar Morgan on July 2, 1950. His family lived across the street for many years. Ed passed away August 18,
1998. Bobbi was blessed with three children, Pamela, Guy, and Gaylen. Those children blessed her with 10 grandchildren; Pam, Dawn, Michael, Jennifer, Jeff, Eric, Erin, Brooke, Danielle, and Mariah; 21 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren, making 5 generations that she was very proud of.
In her teenage years, Bobbi and her sisters worked at Yakima Theaters as usherettes. Her and her sisters also had a bowling team for many years, and had a great time. Bobbi enjoyed golfing and even started the women's golf league at Westwood West golf course.
She worked as an accounts collector for over 50 years. She enjoyed the people and the work so much she worked until she was 75 years old before retiring from Yakima Valley Credit Union (now Solarity Credit Union). She belonged to the Credit Women's Organization and was named Collector of the year several years.
For over 15 years in retirement she volunteered with the seniors at the Harman Center. Additionally she volunteered with the Vineyard Church helping the homeless of the community. Bobbi lived a very full life, and never met a stranger. She enjoyed traveling, painting, macrame, bingo, crochet and spending time with family.
Bobbi always kept busy throughout her life, and in retirement she notched it up with taking many trips around the country, and even to Ireland at 85 years old along with her sister Lavon. Some of her favorite places she traveled were Branson, Washington DC, Reno, London, England, just to name a few. One of her highlights was ziplining at over 89 years young in Wallace, Idaho with Lavon.
Bobbi was a grateful and gracious matriarch to her family. For over 40 years she would host family reunions that family members would travel from all over to attend. Many fond memories were made at these reunions and will be forever remembered by many. Potluck, bingo, golf, bowling and the egg toss were staples.
She was grateful to be able to live with her daughter Pam for the last 15 years and cherished that time.
She will be missed greatly by all who were able to know her.
