He was born February 22, 1955 to his late mother Pauline (Wilma) and father Ronald Crider and lived his entire life in Selah. He graduated from Selah High School and received a degree in Telecommunications at Perry Tech. After graduation he worked in telecommunication until a motorcycle accident in 1996. Even though this resulted with Ron being paraplegic this did not affect his independence or who he was. He had some of the best friends anyone could ask for, including his dogs, especially Randy who was his sidekick and went everywhere he did. He loved attending his son’s softball games and taking his dogs to the park. In the last year Ron became a grandpa; this was the highlight of his life. He loved his grandchildren, his main goal after his diagnosis of cancer was to walk his girls down the aisle and see his grandbabies. He got to do it all! He was a great friend, father, and grandfather. He was the backbone and heart of our family, and always there when you needed to talk. He will be greatly missed by his children and grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his children Josh Crider (Amanda), Tiffany Jacobs (Josh), and Ashley McLemore (Bryan), and his grandchildren Xander, Berkley, Flynn and Kadence. He is preceded in death by his father Ronald, mother Pauline and sister Judy Emerson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home at 3 pm; a celebration of life will follow. To share a memory of Ronald, please visit www.lepfuneralhome.com.
