Sheri Lee Radosevich, born on August 1, 1948, in Yakima, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, in the hometown she cherished. She was the beloved youngest daughter of Anthony (Tony) Radosevich and Marjorie Radosevich, both preceded her in death, as did her dear sister, Nancy Poulin. Sheri is survived by her loving sister, Darlene Riddle, and a family who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Sheri's journey began in Apple Country of Terrace Heights, where she attended East Valley High School and formed friendships that stood the test of time. Her early life was marked by dedication and kindness, which defined her extraordinary career. Sheri embarked on a remarkable 40-plus-year journey in the banking industry, starting as a bank teller in Yakima and rising to the role of a respected technical analyst, where her exceptional work ethic and warm demeanor left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.
For two decades, Sheri found joy and solace living on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, enjoying its panoramic views and the vibrant city life, particularly during events at Key Arena. In 2004, she returned to her roots in Yakima after retirement to be closer to family.
The family was the cornerstone of Sheri's life. Her love for her sisters, Darlene and Nancy, was profound. Though Nancy has passed, her memory continues to be a guiding light in Sheri's life. Sheri's heart swelled with pride for her nephew Brad, his wife Sarah, and her niece and dear friend, Cyndi. Sheri and Cyndi shared a unique and special bond, spending countless hours in deep, engaging conversations.
Sheri found joy in her great-niece Madeleine and great-nephews Alex, Sean, and Joey. Her spirit was as vibrant as the Seattle sports teams she avidly supported. She delighted in cruise adventures, her laughter resonating through the casinos as she tried her luck at the slot machines. Yet, her greatest joy came from the companionship of her beloved cat fur babies over the years, who were more than pets—they were family. Sheri was supported and loved by her long-time friends, Judy and Teresa, and they shared much joy and laughter over the years together
Sheri faced health challenges over the past several years with remarkable grace and determination. Her resilience and strength were an inspiration to all who knew her.
As we honor Sheri's memory, let us remember her for her impressive achievements and the boundless love and kindness she shared. Though she may have left this world, her legacy of warmth and compassion lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
Rest in peace, dear Sheri. You will forever be missed and cherished.
