I was born 11/2/1930 to wonderful parents, Irvin and Laura (Ora) Parker. I graduated from Highland High School and attended Yakima Business College where I met Ron Bauguess Jr., a Naches High School graduate. During a scavenger hunt we decided to start dating proving that rivals can get along.
In April of 1951 we were married and welcomed our son Jeff in 1952, David in 1955 and Teresa in 1960. For years I enjoyed hosting family dinners, going on fishing trips to various lakes, digging for razor clams on the coast, gambling at Reno with family but most of all I cherish watching my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. I enjoyed traveling south with my brother Vern and his wife, vacations in the summer with Teresa and her kids, fishing for salmon
with David and Jeff. In 2001 for our 50th wedding anniversary our children sent us to Alaska for a two week cruise and land trip. I'm glad we took that trip because in 2002 life really changed. In spring we lost grandson Lewis, November our son Jeff and in December I came home to find Ron had passed away in his chair. After selling our houses Teresa built a house using the plans Ron and I had found and really liked. It kept me busy deciding colors, carpets, wood and tiles. I was proud of the house when it was done. Teresa and I took some of the trips that Ron and I had planned to take cruising through the Panama Canal and going to Branson (not her thing but it was fun). We traveled as much as my health would allow and sometimes even when it didn't.
Remember me with smiles and laughter for that's how I will remember you. Don't be sad. Just remember all the fun times we had. Keeping those memories in your heart will keep me with you forever; No more pain and fighting for every breath. I gave up to peacefulness on 9/24/2017 at Cottage in the Meadow with Teresa by my side.
I am survived by my son David Bauguess, daughter Teresa Borgman, grandson Jeff Bauguess Jr. (Me I) and great grandchildren Taylor and Jack Bauguess, granddaughter Michele Riggs (John) and great grandchildren Laura, Lily and Jaron, and grandson Greg Borgman (Sarah) and great grandchild Alyson, brother Vern Parker, sister-in-law Linda Bauguess. I want to thank Carol and Rhonda for the stories, laughter and the wonderful food. I also want to thank Dr. Kakkar and his staff for all the time and effort in trying to keep me as comfortable as possible.
I have requested no funeral service be held for me.
