Kenny, I cried the day I found out you left. You were called by God too soon for those of us on Earth. I remember you & Kayla taking me into your home out of the kindness in your souls & speaking life into me when I was at a very low point in my life. You're very loved & missed & I smile thinking back to the crazy times way back in the day & thinking that you're in Heaven with the ones who went before & now you're a Sacred Guardian watching over everyone, making sure everything is legit. Kenny, my brother my friend my family. What I'll miss the most is our talks. There was not a time I didn't see a smile on Kenny's face. If I could have took his place i would have. He was an amazing brother, bestfriend, father. I hope every memory brings a smile and he will forever be loved and missed I am sorry for yalls loss.

My dad was the best, still is the best dad I could ever imagine. We would always hang out together when family or friends would come over and he taught me so much. I miss you and will always love you. 

I can’t believe he’s actually gone but it’s better this was because he’s happier now and doesn’t have to worry about replacing his insulin or low blood sugar he can just rest now and hangout with his father and his dogs Now Rest Easy dad. This picture he was so happy when he got this cane it was given to him by my cousins izeyah and izaac Perez they were his 2 little buddies even though there bigger then him. Little brother you will always and forever ever be my baby brother I have so many memories of you from the time you mama gave birth to you my heart is very heavy 💔😭 I just seen you the day before you made me laugh like old times I still remember you Kayla and the boys coming to my house and just having a good time 

Kenny you were such a sweet guy, quiet until you got comfy around someone n boy can you talk someone's ear off lol but very loving. You were an amazing husband, dad, nephew. We had many good times talking, joking and conversations of just anything that would come up.  You had a big golden heart and helped any way you could. Gonna miss your laugh, smile and everything about you. I miss your hugs n calls n private messages just to say hi. Uncle James n I are gonna miss you and think of you. Don't worry about Kayla cause she knows if she needs help with anything we're here for her n the boys if there's anything they need help learning about building things or working on cars, they can call uncle James. We love you sunshine, please watch over us all especially your little family n we're so happy we had you in our family from day one. GONE TO SOON but WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. Life won't be the same without you. We have soooooo many memories after all these years together.  I Remember saving your life a few times.but you know that  1 time. I miss you more everyday. Thinking to myself your gonna pull up anytime.  You really did leave me with these crazy woman after we talked about this. Kenny the pain of loosing you is immeasurable, but God has you in His keeping, There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.

I could tell you about a lot of very fond memories of my brother and I but I'll keep it short and recent. The few weeks before his passing he was helping me to get our bikes running for a ride up to Rimrock lake. I knew he was enjoying himself but I had no idea just how much.  I was told just how excited and truly happy he was, especially when we got his favorite running lol. I'm proud to have given him happiness and a smile and even more proud to call him my brother.  I love and miss you dearly

Kayla I am so sorry for your loss I remember Kenny when he hung out with my son earl when ever he came to the house when they young he was always polite always called me miss white or earls mom he will be dearly missed by all May god wrap his arms around you and the boys and bring you peace and comfort 

I am so blessed to have known you and call you family. You were a sweet, quiet soul that left this world way too soon....thank you for loving my God daughter and the boys as if they were yours❤  I pray you find rest from this journey and we will keep you in our hearts and memories until we meet again❤ 🙏 We will be there for support for Kayla and boys as they slowly go on in life.....knowing you  will always be there, looking over them. Kayla, boys and Onia- it's hard to find the right words to say. I know Kenny loves you all SO MUCH, and wants you to remember all the good memories in your hearts. His time here on this earth may have ended, but guaranteed he is now in heaven, healthy, happy, and watching over you all. One day, you will be able to spend eternity with him and Jesus- and that will be the greatest day. Thinking of you, praying for strength and guidance. Kayla- you are a strong woman, love you so much. 

Kenny, since the first time Tom brought you home, you blended in and become one of the boys. Our talks are special memories to me. I love you and I'm going to miss you. We'll meet again someday. 

Kayla, Kennys mom, and Kennys boys...... my heart, thoughts, and prayers are with you always throughout this tough time!! Kenny was a great guy with a great sense of humor. Our times together will for sure always be remembered. The times when you guys lived with us in Sunnyside and when we had to stay with you a couple weeks. Our times of just joking around and when we went out to eat for mexican food followed by rons ice cream. There are just too many memories and Kenny will surely be missed. Fly high and rest in paradise Kenny..... until we can all see each other again!! ❤

To my good friend/ brother Kenny. Just wanted to say im very proud of the man you became. We been friends for many years I seen the ups and downs but you never gave up, you always tried your best. One of the greatest things about you is that no matter what life threw at you nothing stopped from your relationship with Jesus. You been in many of Bible studies in which I seen myself a changed man. You have inspired other men around you to not give up hope and to always love Jesus. 

There are no words that can express the pain in my heart babe. You were my everything and more. I’ve watched you fight As hard as you could through out the almost 15 years we have been together. You were one of the bravest persons I knew and my Hero. Not a day will go by that I won’t think of you. I’ll carry you with me until we meet again. I love you past forever baby. Watch over our boys and rest now I’ll take it from here. 

My heart, sympathy, and prayers go out to you Kayla and your family and friends for this great loss. Know that God's arms are holding you tightly as he pours out his comfort through the presence of the holy spirit as well as those around you who love and support you. Kenny is survived by his mother and step father Onia Kennita &amp; John Pleasants, his wife Kayla Boelen, three sons, Logan Rodriguez, Christopher Smidt Jr., and Nicholas Smidt, step siblings Sean and Kayleena, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including his longtime friends that became family to him.
He is preceded in death by his father Stanley Boelen, child Kenny Boelen Jr., and his grandparents. Kenny will always be remembered as a loving son, father, husband, and loyal friend to all who encountered him. Forever you are in our hearts.
