Thomas Ralph Wade

Thomas R. Wade passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at Confluence Health in Wenatchee, at the age of 62. Thomas R. Wade was born on March 27, 1962, in Tri Cities, WA the son of Ralph Wade and Joan Harvey.

The family moved to Yakima and that is where Thomas spent most of his life. Thomas married Cathy Bailey and they were blessed with a son Kyle Wade. Thomas and Cathy divorced, and a few years later, he was also blessed with a daughter, Chelsie Wade.

Thomas and Kyle both loved car races, and not just watching them, because as Kyle got older, they got into building race cars that Kyle drove and competed in races with. Chelsie even got the race bug like her older brother and drove a car that Kyle and Thomas built. Racing was that one thing they had in common, and it was always racing that keep them close.

Thomas also loved to go fishing and camping, as that was his relaxing sanctuary, along with his whiskey and cigarettes, he had everything he needed. Thomas moved to Ephrata, WA, in 2022 and lived there until he passed.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Tom/Dad now has VIP seating for every car race and is camped by a beautiful lake, where the fish are always biting He is survived by his two (2) children Kyle Wade (San Tan Valley, AZ) and Chelsie Wade (Selah, WA); his two (2) grandchildren Kylea. Wade and Brooklyn Wade (San Tan Valley, AZ), his stepsister's Tammy and Shawna. Along with two of his long time and closest friends Denny McConnell and Ted Mitzel. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Scott Wade and his sister Lorie Stenstude.
