I, too, came to be friends with Venita through Old Town Community Church. God brought us closer through our "secret sisters" ministry as He knew she would be a good mentor for me. I enjoyed the bible studies she led, the in depth discussions, laughter, and her unwavering faith that touched us all. I am thankful and blessed to have known her.
With prayers of comfort to her family,

This photo was taken at the Union Gap Nazarene church in 1985. It was a women's Christian ministry of which Venita was a part of. She is fourth from the left in the back row. Her attendance was faithful and her fellowship warm and giving. She will always be remembered fondly.

We knew Venita many years ago while serving at the Union Gap Church of The Nazarene. She was just as devoted to family and friends and church as her obituary states. We pray for the family to find comfort and to look forward to the day when we all will be reunited again with our loved ones now gone from our midst.
