December 31, 1963 – September 5, 2025
William “Bill” Earl McClellan, 61, of Yakima, Washington, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on September 5, 2025. He was born on December 31, 1963, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Leland and Patsy McClellan.
Bill lived life with a sense of adventure and joy. He was happiest in the mountains, camping under the stars, or riding anything with wheels—motorcycles, quads, side-by-sides, and jeeps. The beach was another favorite place where he found peace and fun. Bill also loved to travel, and he recently discovered a passion for flying first class, insisting that if the flight was longer than an hour, comfort was a must.
Bill never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He was quick-witted, with a funny sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He never missed a moment to have a comeback or be a bit of a smart ass, which brought laughter to everyone around him. He shared more than 38 years with the love of his life and soulmate, Julie. Together they built a beautiful life and family, and they would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on September 22, 2025.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Julie McClellan; his son, Andrew McClellan; his grandchildren, Kelton Ross and Leona Ross; and his sisters, Brenda McClellan and Chris McClellan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Patsy McClellan; his brother, Richard McClellan; his daughter, Angelica McClellan; and his son, Leland McClellan.
Bill will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his humor, his love for the outdoors, and the laughter and memories he shared with his family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Langevin El Paraiso Funeral Home, followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. After the service, family and friends are invited to gather at the Yakima Eagles at 307 W Chestnut Ave Yakima, WA 98902 to share stories and celebrate Bill’s life.
His memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
