Carol Anne Kramer

Scarborough - Carol Anne Kramer, 66, of Falmouth, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011.

Carol was born in Buffalo, New York. She attended Winchester High School in Winchester, Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Michigan. Over the years, she worked as a social worker, a teacher for Head Start, a small business owner and a substitute teacher in the Falmouth elementary schools. She also volunteered as a counselor at the Center for Grieving Children.

Carol is survived by her husband Kirby; her daughter Elizabeth Kramer and son-in-law Eric Chun of New York City; her son Zachary Kramer and daughter-in-law Jennifer Blaise Kramer of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her beloved granddaughters Madeline, Zoe, Stella and Julia; her sister and brother-in-law Jane and Clint Cogswell of Concord, New Hampshire; her sisters Mary Stein of Denver, Colorado and Patricia Madeira of Cumberland; and her mother Eileen Shanley of Cumberland.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday November 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Avenue, Portland, ME. Burial will follow, also in Evergreen Cemetery.
