

Freeport – Jacqueline Evonne Zeilor, 69, of Freeport passed peacefully on Sunday May 15, 2011 at Mid-Coast Hospital in Brunswick. Jackie, to all her friends and family, was born in Freeport on November 30, 1941, a daughter of Marion (Simpson) and George Hale. She grew up in Freeport and graduated from Freeport High School, Class of 1960.
Jackie worked in Freeport and Lisbon for Dingley Press most of her working career. Jackie enjoyed taking car trips with her family and traveling around the country. Her greatest joy and the love of her life was her family.
In addition to her loving companion, Bill Winslow, Jackie is survived by her daughter Lorna Wren and her husband Karl; her son John Zeilor and his wife Juliet; her five grandchildren: Dustin and his wife Lacie, Rica and her husband Dustin, Jenna, John and Alex; her two great-grandchildren: Madison and Lillianna. She was predeceased by her three sisters: Marjorie Hale, Bobbie Hale, Donna Brown and her brother George “Skipper” Hale.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the ICU staff at Mid-Coast Hospital for their wonderful care and the attention provided to Jackie and her family.
