
North Yarmouth - Jayetta W. (Halleman) Fordham, 69, of North Yarmouth, ME, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at her home following a period of declining health. She was born on November 18, 1944 in Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and Wanda (Eisbrenner) Halleman. She graduated from Liberty High School and then graduated cum laude from Muhlenburg College in 1966.
She was a resident of Maine for 47 years, formerly living in Bethlehem, PA. She married the love of her life, Wayne Fordham on June 24, 1967. She worked for a number of years as a social worker and vocational rehabilitation consultant. She enjoyed horse riding, reading about and studying Native American history and helping others.
She is survived by her husband and three children, Rose Michaud of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kim Maestas of Cumberland, ME, and Ryan Fordham of Leominster, MA; six grandchildren, Bethany, Sam, Zach, Ben, Chloe and Mason; two great grandchildren, Lily and Sophie; one brother, Jeffrey Halleman and his wife Nancy; as well as many nieces and nephews.
