Joseph Vital Pelletier

Joseph was born in Portland, Maine to Vital and Micheline (Latini) Pelletier on March 23, 1953. He went to school at Portland High School and graduated in 1971. He worked as an electrician for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 35 years. He was a veteran and served in the Army and Air Force National Guard. He was very involved with and dedicated to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yarmouth.

Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Vital Pelletier.

Joseph is survived by sons Timothy Joseph (Jeannie) Pelletier of Cincinnati, OH and Robert Alan (Channin) Pelletier of Mesa, AZ, mother Micheline (Latini) Pelletier, sisters Cathy Methot and Marie Pelletier of Portland, grandchildren Dalton, Ethan, Aila, Piper and Everly, great-grandson Zylon, and his cat Ollie.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 pm Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Lindquist Funeral Home, Yarmouth, Maine.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday February 13, 2026 at Sacred Heart Church with Father Paul Marquis of St. Peter’s Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lindquist Funeral Home.
