Mary Levasseur Hill

Yarmouth- Mary LeVasseur Hill, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Maine Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on August 22, 1945, in Fort Fairfield, ME, to Renis and Angie LeVasseur. She was one of eight children. Mary married Ralph Hill on July 26, 1968. They moved to Yarmouth in 1976 where Mary worked as the bookkeeper for the Town of Yarmouth for over 30 years. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering for the Lady’s Auxiliary for Amvets Post 2 and was proud of their commitment to the community providing scholarships, support for families in need, and community service. She is survived by her Husband Ralph, children John and Chrisy, grandchildren Luke, Emily, and Sophie, and twin brother Gary.

Family and friends are invited to attend an hour of visitation on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 10-11 AM at Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by the interment at Riverside Cemetery in Yarmouth. A reception will follow services at AMvets Post 2, 148 North Road, Yarmouth
