Standish, ME- Patricia Poole, 83, passed away on April 1, 2026, at Maine Medical Center. She was born on February 10, 1943 in York, ME. Patty attended York schools and graduated from Maine Criminal Academy. She worked at Maine Youth Center in South Portland where she was a counselor for 28 years before retiring. She looked forward to playing cards with her friend Liz and visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patty became good friends with her home health aide, Madia. She and Madia had a close relationship and Madia was always so good to Patty. Patty touched a lot of peoples lives and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Poole and wife Lynne of Standish and Donald Poole of Standish; sister, Louise Barrett and her husband Edward of MA; brother, Francis Deferrio and his partner Maureen Cash of MA.
