Stephen John Feeney

Stephen J. Feeney, 63 of Gorham, passed away Friday October 27, 2023 at Maine Medical Center after a sudden illness surrounded by his loving family.

Stephen was born in Portland, ME March 23, 1960 to Charles “Frank” and Dorothy E. Mullen Feeney, the 4th child of 5 children. He grew up in Falmouth, graduating from Falmouth High School in 1978. While in school he participated in several sports, including basketball and track. One of his proudest moments was when his track team won the state title for the mile relay race.

Some of Stephen's fondest memories were of growing up in Mussel Cove where he said he had the best childhood anyone could have and family vacations at Colcord Pond. Family, friends and his dog Kruger were the most important things to Stephen. If you knew Stephen you knew his dog Kruger, as they were inseparable. Stephen liked driving and spent most of his life as a delivery driver in the greater Portland area. He was currently employed by PJ Merrill.

Stephen was predeceased by his father Frank and his younger brother Richard. He is survived by his mother Dorothy of Topsham, sister Diane (Don) McMaster of Topsham, brother Michael (Janice) of Melbourne, Fl, brother David of South Portland, 6 nieces, 1 nephew, several cousins and many friends, Stephen will be greatly missed. Stephen's family would like to thank his friends especially Stacey, Cydney and Zack for all the support they have given the family and the SCU 2 unit for their kindness and compassion while caring for him.

Visitation will be held at 4- 7 pm on Thursday November 2nd, 2023, at Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane in Yarmouth
