Alexandra Cancio of Yonkers died on Monday, August 12, 2013 at age 14. Born on September 6, 1998 to Zeighfred and Lottah (Lingas) Cancio in Bridgeport, Ct. She attended Christ the King Grade School; graduated from Sacred Heart Grade School and was going into her sophomore year at Sacred Heart High School. Alexandra played volley ball for the high school and basketball at Christ the King. She is survived by her parents; her brother Zegy Miguel Cancio and her sister Lara Viktoria Cancio and both sets of grandparents Allan and Estela Cancio and Tirso and Marina Lingas. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home on Thursday, evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery.
