Charles E. Speight

Charles E. Speight beloved son of Jean and William survived by a sister Colleen and a brother Billy. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents. He attended the Haldane School District until 10th grade when he entered South Kent Prep School in South Kent Connecticut. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He had a passion for hockey playing on many local teams. He continued his hockey career at South Kent Prep and Sacred Heart University. He was employed by the Darien School District in Darien, Connecticut and also worked at the Midnight Ramble in Woodstock, N.Y. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church in Cold Spring, N.Y. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eileen and Charles Speight Memorial Burse.

Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Christ the King Church on Thursday, February 17th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
