Clara F. Halloran

Clara F. Halloran had been a resident of Yonkers, NY for over 80 years.The daughter of Dr. Walter J. Halloran and Clara F. Grady she was the youngest of three children. She grew up surrounded by her family. Her best friends were her cousins and they all attended school in Yonkers together. After receiving a degree from The College of New Rochelle, Clara commuted daily into New York City for all her adult life working for Mobil Corp and Pfizer, Inc. She made many friends along the way because she was a loyal, honest and a true friend in return. Among her daily callers were ladies Clara had known since kindergarten. She recalled many happy memories growing up in Yonkers and summers in Fairfield, CT. Clara was loved dearly and will be missed by many. She is survived by her nephew James Moore, wife Johanna and daughter Jessica; nephew Timothy Moore, wife Susan and sons Timothy, Brian and Matthew; nephew Thomas Moore, wife Patricia and sons Kevin, Brennan and daughter Kara; niece Dorothy Gasper, sons Richard, Steven and James; niece Anne Monoxelos, husband James and daughters Jacqueline, Lauren and son Evan; nephew Christopher Moore, wife Patricia and sons Christopher, Jack and daughter, Erin. She is predeceased by her brother Walter Halloran and sister Dorothy Moore. Clara is also predeceased by her long-time friend, James Caporale. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday from 10-11:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Christ the King Church on Monday February 3rd at 12pm. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
