Constance Sielicki

Constance “Connie” Sielicki nee (Carvalho) of Yonkers died on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 at age 88. Born on Feb. 6, 1927 to Anthony and Mary Jane (Shea) Carvalho in Raynham, Mass. Where she was raised and educated.

On Feb. 6, 1949 she married Walter Sielicki in St. Elizabeth Church in Linden, N.J., he died on May 28, 1987

Mrs. Sielicki was the Supervisor of the Food Service Dept. for the Yonkers Board of Ed for over 30 years. She previously worked as a Dietician at St. John’s Hospital.

She was a Parishioner of Christ the King Church; and member of the Yonkers Civil Service Assoc. and N.Y. State and National Food Service Assoc.

Connie is survived by her 2 children Mary Alice (Robert) “Pancho” Forcelli of Yonkers and Richard F. Sielicki of St Augustine Fla. Her 2 Grandchildren Kara Forcelli and Rob and his Fiance ( Caitlin Maxwell) Forcelli and her great granddaughter Gianna Verrier and her brother-in-law Donald Blondin of West Keansburg N.J. She was pre deceased by her sister Alice Blondin and 2 brothers Raymond and Henry Carvalho. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday, 2 - 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Church on Wednesday, August 26th at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
